US: nuclear danger in Fukushima is worse than Japanese government says

The chairman of the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission has made a statement that the earthquake and tsunami-induced damage at Japan's Fukushimi Daichi Nuclear Power Plant (Plant 1) is worse than Japanese officials have been saying. More here and here.
