Everybody knows that you can't walk a hundred paces in Tokyo without encountering a vending machine. What some may be surprised to find, however, is that some of those vending machines have legs of their own.
Starting two days ago and ending today, Puma Japan is sponsoring street performance art of a sort in Tokyo's trendy Shibuya district. Throughout the day, members of the Puma crew are running around the area, and at the sound of a whistle, stop to pull up specially outfitted aprons that convert to vending machine facades.
Apparently this isn't the first time a brand has pulled of this kind of stunt in Shibuya. A CNBC video posted on Youtube shows a similar guerilla action by a Japanese artist acting as a Coke machine.
